MOLINO MONACELLI
Molino Monacelli is an old farmhouse carefully restored and brought up to the standards of comfortable and modern hospitality. It is positioned in an extensive, quiet and unspoiled location in the countryside just 2 km from the sea and Fano.
The original building was registered in the cadastral maps of the State of the Church. It was the property of the last member of an old family of the Marche, Gaetano Monacelli Lattanzi, and is now managed by his grandson Ludovico and his wife Ilaria.
The rooms are comfortable and furnished with care preserving the original features of the house., with a touch of contemporary and elegant decor.
Molino Monacelli welcomes guests who are seeking a comfortable stay and hospitality dedicated to health, well being and a genuine Italian experience. LOCATION
Molino Monacelli is located 1.5 km from the center of Fano, in Phenyl area. It is about 50 km from Rimini and Ancona, and is only 12 km from Pesaro. It is 46 km from Falconara Airport (Ancona) and 170 km from the airport of Bologna.

Molino Monacelli has 5 double rooms and an apartment on the first floor with a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside.
Each room has been designed with a unique personality inspired by the Italian tradition and Ludovico’s and Ilaria’s passion for travel.
They are all soundproofed, with a private bathroom. They are equipped with mosquito nets, air conditioning , heating, hair dryer, wi-fi, towels and TV.
The mattresses are made with the latest materials to ensure maximum comfort. Some rooms have a double shower and bathtub. In some rooms an extra bed can also be requested.
The apartment has 4-5 beds. It consists of a bedroom and a living room with kitchenette and a comfortable sofa bed for 2 persons. The bathroom has a double shower and hair dryer.
On the ground floor there is the old barn, now used as a living room, with a fireplace, a reading area with guides and books available to browse the wealth of cultural, artistic and natural wonders of the Marche and Italy. Chess, playing cards and a rich and varied assortment of music is provided. The dining and breakfast areas are also located here.
Breakfast is rich and typically Italian, based on sweet delicacies skillfully prepared by Ilaria. On request vegetarians and milk intolerances will enjoy special made cakes. International breakfast is also available on request.
Shaded outdoor areas can be enjoyed over breakfast or simply for relaxing while enjoying the garden and the view. A relaxation zone is available with hammocks in the shade of elm trees, elders and other trees typical of the area. Children's play area. Synergistic and traditional garden. Pizza oven and barbeque. Bicycles free of charge. Soccer table and ping pong, private unattended car park.
On request, shiatsu treatments can be made available for a fee. Lovers of yoga can join Ilaria in her practice, or they can practice independently in a beautiful area surrounded by trees.

FANO AND SURROUNDINGS
Molino Monacelli is located on the outskirts of Fano, a seaside town with a long seafaring tradition where you can taste fresh fish dishes.
The beaches unfold along a long coastline that goes from Pesaro to Marotta (about 20 km). The two city beaches have different characteristics and are separated from the docks of the port. The Lido, to the west, offers a fine golden sandy beach with shallow waters; "Sassonia", to the east, consists of round and polished pebbles, with a deeper sea. Both beaches are equipped with sun loungers and space for children.
An ideal destination for lovers of sailing and fishing. The marina is home to around 400 berths and there is the possibility of excursions on vessels where the catch will be cooked.
Carnival is the most important event in the city. It takes place at the end of winter and has an ancient tradition dating back to 1347.
The area surrounding the town is rich with artistic, cultural, religious and natural beauties, thanks to the many monasteries in the area. The region also offers excellent food and wine itineraries owing to its rich sea and agricultural traditions.
The location is an ideal destination for visits to ancient and fascinating cities, such as Mondavio, Mombaroccio, Urbino, Gradara Castle, Gubbio and Assisi. In addition, a must for nature lovers is a visit to the Valle del Metaur, the Marmitte dei Giganti near Fossombrone, The Gole del Furlo between Fermignano and Acqualagna.
Also within easy reach are the majestic Frasassi and the nature reserve of the Conero with Numana and Sirolo and the Sanctuary of the Madonna di Loreto.
